Scope of discussion

Case rooms exist for professional reasoning and education between colleagues. They are not a referral service, not an emergency channel, and not a substitute for the clinician who is physically responsible for the patient. Urgent clinical problems must be escalated through local pathways.

Patient privacy

Patient-identifying information is prohibited. Before publication, every case passes through a privacy review with automated identifier warnings. Those warnings are an aid, not a guarantee of anonymisation.

Verification and who may advise

Members may read and learn while verification is pending. Publishing clinical cases, replying with clinical recommendations, issuing assessments, verifying portfolio evidence, hosting accredited CME and appearing in professional directories are restricted to verified professionals.

Correction, review and escalation

• Edits to published content are visibly labelled
• Faculty-reviewed replies carry an explicit label
• Any member can report content for moderator review
• Moderation actions are logged
• Dangerous or misleading clinical content is escalated for urgent review
• Conflicts of interest must be disclosed
